My NES turned up today, Courier had thrown it over the back gate but luckily it was well packaged. And here was my first go on Mario Bros

My latest Atari pick-ups! Summer Games for the A8, was especially pleased to grab this as it's one of the rarest XE carts. Frenzy for the 7800, superb homebrew arcade conversion. Philia for the Jaguar CD, excellent sequel to Elansar. Retro magazine, a german publication with an article by me. The new issue of Atari User, with lots of articles by me. And finally the amazing Atari Advantage poster that was included with Summer Games, this is huge and looks amazing, I need to get it framed and put on the wall!

Do you purposely keep trying to make me Jealous Laird? It's not going to work. This. Time. Damn you Some nice additions there though, I've got to find time for repairing my XEGS or money to buy another one, both in short supply now. That poster is just uber cool though, grt it framed and on the wall.

And yet another new retro publication arrives on my doorstep, the English translated version of the excellent Pro (C) Atari magazine. This one features the making of Mastertronic's brilliant Panther by me!

Here are the arrivals for this week... Here is the set that completes my cart-only Old School for Intellivision. Here is a sealed and numbered ([HASH]23) Old School CIB. An NES dogbone controller. I'd been after one for some time. And Super Killminds for my Genesis.

I have to confess that I didn't bother with the Jag CD game myself even though I usually buy every new release, it just seemed far too simple to warrant it.

I debated about it and finally decided to get it because the developer is a good guy (this is his first Jaguar game and he was intentionally trying to emulate a handheld). I have his Vectrex games.
